Group Evaluation

• What role(s) did you take on for this assessment?

Through this assignment I worked on my two questions "When things go wrong." and "Which Doctor." I also made my website for protopage.com.

• . What did you like about working as a group?

I liked that in our group we were able to share each others ideas and spread out the workload evenly. I enjoyed being able to get a second opinion on what i did or researched.

• . What was difficult about working as a group?

Some difficulties about being in a group was that we all wanted to present our presentation in a different way.

• . What did you learn about working as a group?

I learnt that you need to share the workload equally and let everyone have a chance to put forward their ideas. I also learnt that you need to listen to everyone's opinions and ideas.

• . How well did you work together/cooperatively?

I think that we all worked well together throughout the task. It was great to work with Angel as I'd never worked with her before. On the other hand it was also good that Eimer, Elizabeth and I have worked  together many times before because we know how each other work and research etc.

• . Did everyone contribute equally and enthusiastically ?

- Everyone contributed equally as we all had the same number of questions so the work was shared around equally.

- Everyone was eager to pick their 1-2 questions. But at the same time we were all hesitant to present at first but now it's not so daunting.

• . How well as an individual did you work as part of the group?

I think that I worked well individually as I have successfully completed my set questions and have completed my blog in my own time. I also think that i was a good team member as I helped out when people in my group asked questions about their own research. I shared my ideas to the group and was willing to do what everyone wanted.

• . Identify your strengths and weaknesses as a group member.

Some of my strengths were that i had many ideas to contribute, I was enthusiastic and willing to work and I helped out my other group members when they needed it.

Some of my weaknesses were that I sometimes didn't listen to some of the groups ideas as I wasn't as focused as I should've been, I didn't volunteer to do extra work which I may have been able to do.

• . Outline suggestions to improve your approach to group work .

I can make sure that everyone can tell each other their own suggestions and I will listen with full attention, and I can pick up extra work.

I missed our last lesson.

Yesterday was our last lesson in class to work on our assignment but i was away and couldn't go on the internet at home. Everyone just kept working on their protopage sight. I am not sure if mine is up to the standards of everyone elses to i might still work on it though the week to make it better.

SECOND LAST LESSON :|

We only have one more lesson to go. I think that lesson will be figuring out our actual presentation and all working through our website to get eachothers opinions.
We only have around 5 minutes left of this lesson so might just browse the web for more pictures etc.

stiiiiill working on our protopage websites

Our protopage is starting to fill up and look good :)
Everyone in the group is pulling their waight in this project which I'm very pleased about. Each of us has taken on a different responsibility and also individually worked hard.
We are pretty much ready to start planning what we're going to say in our actual presentation
I've found a couple of good pictures on the web of the digestive system.

Working on our assessments

we're in BLG4 today and are still working on our assignments; blogging, and organizing our presentation on protopage.
Yesterday Elizabeth made our worksheet that we are going to hand out to everyone at the end of our presentation.
I am working on finding pictures and some videos and more information to put in my presentation :)

it's friday the 13th :| .. still planning

It's currently 11:48 on a friday :) We're have just figured out which questions each of us are doing. Elizabeth wants to know how we're going to present our presentation but Eimear, Angel and I are still not sure. So we thought this lesson we are going to research our questions and think about our presentation another time because it isnt too important just yet in the stages of our project.
Angel an Eimear are researching their questions and Elizabeth is trying to find animations of the digestive system. I'm signing off now :) and I'm going to research my questions. 'When things go wrong?' and 'Which doctor?'. We have organised our questions so that the people that have two questions, they i guess intertwine with eachother. Like 'when things go wrong'.. people have to go to the doctor. Eimear has the good and the bad habits and Elizabeth has the parts of the body system and how they work. Angel is only researching 'Why do we need it?' because we thought that that questions was the hardest and needed the most amount of information and research.
I'm going to start researching my questions now.
